Utah Court Holds Arbitration Respondents in Contempt

Following a one-day evidentiary hearing, held virtually, a Utah state court has found three respondents in an arbitration proceeding in which the AAA tribunal found in favor of Anderson Law Firm’s client (see News posted on December 2, 2020) in contempt of court for violating various preliminary and permanent injunctions issued by the court. The court found that each of the respondents had willfully violated the court’s orders and, in part, ordered the respondents to pay all of the attorneys’ fees incurred by the firm’s client in proceeding with the contempt motion. Alan M. Anderson and L. Reagan Florence represent the firm’s Utah-based client.
